SELLER TOOLS / EBAY
eBay fee calculator & profit estimate.
Use the eBay fee calculator to estimate US selling fees and net profit with supported categories, Store tiers, shipping, tax and attributed General ads.
BEHIND THE NUMBERS
Know what you keep.
Use this eBay profit calculator to estimate one supported order before listing. Select the exact category and active Store plan, then enter the sale amounts and your actual costs. For a completed sale, use the profit guide to reconcile the estimate with your order records.
Seller revenue includes the item price and buyer-paid shipping. Marketplace-collected sales tax is excluded. Product costs, fulfilment costs and other expenses reduce profit separately from selling fees.
Seller revenue − selling fees − product cost − shipping cost − other costs
Profit margin is net profit divided by seller revenue. Zero revenue has no defined margin; losses are shown as negative profit.
Explicit eBay coverage
Antiques, Baby, Crafts, Books & Magazines, Guitars & Basses, and Watches, Parts & Accessories. No Store and Starter use the non-discounted schedule. Basic, Premium, Anchor and Enterprise use the Store schedule. Final value fee tiers apply progressively, including shipping and tax, before one cent-rounding step. The per-order charge is $0.30 at $10 or less and $0.40 above $10.
Enter General campaign fees only for an attributed order. Account-specific discounts, performance surcharges, multiple items, international buyers, unusual shipping bases, refunds, NFTs and other categories are unsupported. Insertion fees, listing upgrades and allocated Store charges can be entered in Other costs; they are not inferred.
